The story of how I got started. . . .

Hi I'm Monique Mcbride. Mother, Wife , World Traveler and Founder of The Final Touch by Monique LLC.

My Parents always said, " You make it look so easy."

No matter what it was, struggle wasn't something I was good at showing.

I'm a person that's a little good, at a lot of things.

My second job out of college was an Account Manager for a Tech Company. I managed a set number of revenue for the company and was responsible for the client retention. A multitude of tasks fell under that umbrella, but mainly training on our products. I had to be an expert with all things "Tech Company" ( masking name for privacy)

While doing this, we only spoke with the executives from the company & I quickly learned some of them didn't know much.

Often I was teaching them how to improve their efficiency and operations. I'd often joke, If they can run a business, why aren't I?!

So I did it. ..While working 70+ hours a week, I opened up "The Final Touch by Monique". In the beginning I only offered decorating services on the weekends. Then Covid hit & It was hard to get into peoples homes.

After leaving my full time job to home school my daughter because schools shut down, something unexpected happened. My hobby "Photography" started bringing me clients. I hadn't really done it for money, yet I was getting phone calls and messages for family sessions and weddings.

All of my photography gear was passed down from my Grandfather who would take photos of Tribal Native American Ceremonies through out New Mexico / Arizona/ and Oklahoma. I was only carrying on his legacy & look where it had gotten me.

I'm so thankful to fast forward and meet you where I am today. The experiences I've had mold me into the person you need when we work together.

Ive witnessed the purest sunrises in Africa, kayaked through the Venetian waters, took a nap next to wild monkeys, and drank a glass of wine in front of the Great Pyramids of Giza.

Each experience has changed the way I value beauty and presentation/chaos.

Through out my many years of being in Client homes and Photographing around the world i've learned to connect with people on many levels from different backgrounds.

The laughter, the tears, the pain, the flaws, the giggles are all similarities that connect us. It all makes up our individual stories as well. Humans are so interesting and unique. It's what makes us beautiful.

As your photographer, I think about the generations that come after you. The photo album being passed around 15 years from now by your spouse, grandkids, & siblings. The story telling around a fire place with the people you love the most. We're creating a story that you will cherish forever.

As your trusted Organizer/ Household Manager I think about making your life more manageable. How can I make things easier in your day to day life while giving you back time to enjoy what's most important. The little details affect the bigger picture and it's often what we don't have the time to think about. Four hands make the load lighter than bearing the weight with 2.
